  • Yes. Children are welcome at all events. Complimentary childcare will also be available in the McKay Tower during the reception for any parents that are ready for a night off-duty.

  • We recommend arriving at 1:30PM to find your seat with time to spare. If you arrive after 1:45PM you may not be let into the cathedral until after mass has begun.

  • No, we encourage you to walk and enjoy ArtPrize 2027. Our ceremony will take place at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew which is a 15-20 minute walk from our recommended hotels. The reception is across the street from the same hotels. Finally, the after party is about a 30 minute walk from the reception/hotels.

    If you can’t tell, the bride walked these distances frequently growing up.

  • Yes but please, don’t be obnoxious (no iPads or flash photography). Also upload your photos or videos here for the bride and groom so the newlyweds can enjoy the special moment through your eyes!

  • We recommend walking through downtown Grand Rapids and enjoying ArtPrize 2027. You can also stop by your room for a quick refresh if you stay at one of our recommended hotels.

  • September in Grand Rapids is typically mild, with daytime temperatures around 70°F and cooler evenings in the 50s. All events are indoors, but we recommend bringing a light layer for any evening walks between events.

Keeva or Caoimhe (Irish spelling) meaning gentle, precious, beloved, or beautiful. The bride and groom adopted her from Humane Society of Huron Valley in January 2025.
